My story begins when I became a single foster parent to a handsome infant named Oliver. This amazing little one was disconnected, underweight, and on the verge of being labeled "failure to thrive". With my background, I knew the importance of swaddling, so I got every swaddle on the market, but nothing worked. They did not contain him properly, provide the right pressure, and he overheated. That is when I created the Ollie Swaddle.

The Ollie's patented moisture-wicking threads are interwoven into the fabric to help reduce the risk of overheating. The custom closure allows for a individualized fit to meet the need and size of each little one – even as they grow. The opening at the bottom enables easy access for diaper changes – no need to un-swaddle. The Ollie grows with your little one through transitional stages, eliminating the need to buy multiple sizes.

Little ones aren't born with the ability to regulate their own body temperature. The Ollie's fabric helps support proper temperature regulation by wicking away excess moisture around the skin. When used properly, the stretch in our fabric allows for a snug fit to help mimic the containment in the womb, while also allowing for joint movement and flexibility. The custom closures allow you to create the perfect fit every time, even as your little one grows and transitions to using their Ollie with one or both arms out.

The Ollie Can Be Used as a Transitional Swaddle. When your little one begins to show signs of being able to roll from back to stomach, it is important to either stop swaddling or use your Ollie with one or both arms out.

The Ollie provides therapeutic benefits, enhancing your little one's neuro-development, supporting neuro-natal sleep as a foundation for reaching developmental milestones, helping to create positive sleep cues, and easing the transition from the womb to the outside world. The stretch in the fabric allows freedom of movement while still keeping your little one snug and contained, reducing waking from the startle reflex or spontaneous arousal, decreasing irritability while promoting self-soothing, and maintaining supine position. You can start using your Ollie from day one, even for preemies or those in the NICU. To wash, secure the hook and loop tabs and place the Ollie in a delicates laundry bag. Wash on the delicates cycle in cold water with a baby safe detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry.

The Ollie is made from a patented fiber woven through a custom blend material of 86% polyester and 14% spandex. There may be slight color variance due to the custom nature of the fabric.
